World clock by city

Choose a date, time and source city, then convert it to another city with time zone and daylight saving rules applied.

About this calculator

Use the world clock when you need to translate a meeting, call or deadline from one city into another local time.

The calculator uses IANA time zones through the browser Intl API, so daylight saving time is handled by the selected date.

How it works

  1. 1

Choose the source date, time and city.

  2. 2

    Choose the destination city.

  3. 3

The result shows both local times and the time difference for that exact moment.

  4. 4

Use the share link to reopen the same city conversion.

Practical examples

  • Convert a Prague meeting time to New York before sending an invite.
  • Check whether a deadline lands on the same or next day in Tokyo.
  • Compare current business hours across London, Dubai and Singapore.

Frequently asked questions

Does the converter account for daylight saving time?

Yes. The browser's Intl time zone data is used for the selected date, so seasonal offset changes are reflected automatically.

Why do I choose a city instead of a UTC offset?

Cities map to real IANA time zones. A fixed UTC offset cannot capture daylight saving changes or historical rules.

Can I share a conversion?

Yes. The selected date, time and city ids are stored in the URL query parameters.

Is my time zone data sent to a server?

No. The calculation runs in your browser.

What if my city is not listed?

Choose a nearby city in the same time zone. More city options can be added without changing the calculation logic.
